    Rustic Christmas Wedding

    Phill + Mackenzie

Words can not even begin to describe how cute of a couple Mackenzie and Phil make. They met during the holiday season and they even got engaged on top of a mountain, in the winter, in the snow. Christmas has always been a huge part of their relationship. Being affiliated with the military means that you aren’t always able to go back home and spend time with your loved ones. Holidays, like Christmas , are usually some of the only times of the year that you get to surround yourself with friends and family. And Family is so important to Mackenzie and Phil. Their decision to have a Rustic Christmas Inspired wedding was basically a no brainer. This would insure that their whole family would be able to be together during this special time of the year. And let’s be real. Christmas time in Sunny San Diego is basically an awesome warm vacation for the rest of the country.

It was very important for Mackenzie and Phil to be married in a church but the one that they attend just want quite large enough to hold all of their out of town guests. It just so happens that Camp Pendleton , a Marine Corps Base in Southern California, has the cuties little chapel! Seriously. It's not too big, has beautiful stained glass windows, and an overall rustic vibe. It was absolutely perfect.

Pacifica Del Mar, their reception venue, was incredible. The restaurant features five very

distinct private dining options. Somehow the couple was able to snag the outdoor patio for their reception. You would think that an outdoor reception in December would be a bad choice but winters in San Diego are extremely mild. After dancing the night away we were all thankful for the cooler weather and outdoor seating.
