Vanessa and Nick were literally the most well suited couple I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. When we first met I asked the couple what the overall vibe of their wedding was going to be. They both jokingly said “hectic” at the exact same time . All jokes aside the vision they had was an elegant summer night. They spoke of a romantic color palate featuring pink, green, beige, and navy. Something truly timeless. And that is exactly what they got.
The Venue, Pala Masa Resort, is nestled in the small rustic town of Fallbrook, California (Northern San Diego County). The location features several event spaces both in and outdoors. Vanessa and Nick chose to have their ceremony at the properties Garden Pavilion and their reception at the Cliff Terrace.
This couples wedding party was pretty large. It included 7 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen. The groom and groomsmen wore a simple navy suit adorned with white rose boutonnières. The bridesmaids wore pink convertible gowns that allowed each person to add a touch of their own personality . Vanessa, the bride, wore a stunning mermaid fitted gown that featured a sweetheart neck, lace details, and off the shoulder sleeves.
This wedding was full of details. Some of my favorites were the matching American Flag inspired socks for the grooms men (the Groom is in the United States Marine Corps), personalized etched champagne flutes, and the supersized DIY desert bar.
